1. What are your standard helpdesk hours?
Depending on the Maintenance program you choose, either 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, our Silver Maintenance Program or 24/7, our Gold Maintenance Program.2. How are records grouped by your program? Automatically? Does it require an add-on tool?
CaseLogistix has an IntelliFolder system that will allow dynamic organization of records based on fielded metadata. This can enable on the fly organization of your document review. It does not require any additional tool. Intellifoldering is a standard feature in CaseLogistix.3. Does your program have standard case creation templates? Can I create my own templates and apply them across cases?
In CaseLogistix, templates are a standard feature on our design architecture. When a case is created in CaseLogistix you have the ability to Template the entire case including Folders, Searches, Users and Security groups. Following is a snap shot of the template category choices.
4. Does your program have search hit highlighting? Does your program have persistent highlighting of hot terms?
Yes, Keyword highlighting is a standard function in CaseLogistix. You have the ability to import a word list and CaseLogistix will highlight the key terms within the database. CaseLogistix also allows the use of multiple highlight colors to differentiate your key term categories.5. Does your program have a "track changes" warning when opening native documents?
CaseLogistix does have extensive auditing capabilities based on our SQL structure. We can track any change to a record once it's loaded into the database.6. Does your program have history/revision tracking for all changes made to the data?
See answer #5. We also have the ability to restore any record to a previous state in the audit trail.7. Is your program Unicode compliant?
Completely, yes.8. Does your program spell check?
Yes and No. No, you can't select a spell check function in CaseLogistix to run against a whole document or a set of documents. However, you can highlight a specific word in the doc list/editor/note, right click and a list of spellings will come up.9. How do I undo deletions with your program?
In CaseLogistix, we use security permissions to control who deletes documents. When a document is deleted, it is sent to a recycle bin similar to Windows and will remain there until permanently deleted or restored.10. Are redactions transparent in the viewer?
Yes.11. Would we need an add-on to de-dupe in your program?
No, CaseLogistix can add MD5 hash value to documents and run a de-duplication routine based on that value or any other field value. We do partner with Equivio and Syngence for more advance de-duplication and near duplication functions.12. Can you auto-tag duplicate or near duplicates?
Duplicate and near duplicate auto-tagging behavior can be added for specific tags in two ways:- A trigger can be applied to the SQL database by executing a script in our scripting window.
- A custom dashboard can be created to allow granular administration of automatic tagging of duplicates, near duplicates, and email parents/attachments/siblings when documents are tagged with specified tags.
13. Would we need an add-on to near-dupe in your program?
Yes, See #11 above.14. How does this work/look within your interface?
Columns are available to show the %duplicate (100% is exact duplicate), and to specify the pivot document. Duplicate/Near Duplicate documents are grouped together and highlighted with the same color.15. Would we need an add-on to email-thread in your program?
Yes, See #11 above. (E-mail threading is coming in a future version)16. Would we need an add-on to OCR in your program?
CaseLogistix can provide OCR capability for image documents. It is a standalone application similar to other OCR platforms in the market.17. Would we need an add-on to import/export in your program?
No, we have a WayPoint utility that will allow you to import/export directly from CaseLogistix. CaseLogistix supports several industry standard load file formats.18. Does your program have a chronology function? Can I link records to the chronology?
CaseLogistix does not support this native to the application. We do have a direct integration with CaseMap. This integration allows the linking and sending of document and notes from CaseLogistix directly to CaseMap.19. Does your program link to transcripts? Can I link records to the transcripts?
CaseLogistix can support the viewing of transcripts and with our tagging feature, you can create a relationship between transcripts and documents in the database. CaseLogistix can hyperlink any text in the transcript to its associated electronic exhibit/record.20. Would we need an add-on to split and combine images?
Multiple files can be combined and added as a single document in CaseLogistix. CLX has a split document feature for TIFF and PDF files. (You can pull specific pages and also reorder).21. Would we need an add-on to extract metadata from records?
No, CaseLogistix does have a metadata extraction engine built directly into the application.22. Would we need an add-on to check for bates number gaps or overlaps?
No.23. Does your platform offer security on a field level, document level or both?

Our Intellifoldering can be organized by e-mail domain, file type, etc.25. How many languages are handled?

We have standard reporting. We can also customize reports based on individuals, teams or production.36. Does your application offer search term reporting?
Yes, you can generate a context report from any report by clicking the context report button on the toolbar after executing a search. You can specify the surrounding number of words. A search hits report is generated displaying the specified number of words surrounding each search hit, and a link to the document.37. How do you offer training?
