Library Administration and Customization
- Document Library Templates: The folder layout and fields in a particular library can be saved to template to simplify creation of a new, similar document library.
- Convert Field To MultiValue: You can convert a standard field to a multivalue field by right clicking the field in the library designer.
- Internationalization: CaseLogistix interface (i.e. menus and dialogue boxes) can be supplied to display in most foreign languages.
- Drag and Drop Security Rights: A user must have these rights in order to drag and drop to perform autocoding based on destination folder value. Lack of drag and drop security rights do not preclude a user from adding new documents to CaseLogistix via drag and drop.
- User and Group Document Filters: In the library manager, you can add document filters to users, groups, and security groups to restrict which folders and documents users have access to when they login to CaseLogistix.
- Robust Security Features: With administration security rights, CaseLogistix administrators have complete control over the users of CaseLogistix document libraries. Using the Library Designer, users can be created and assigned the user groups and security groups. Users can be assigned to and excluded from a host of security roles and levels, such as the ability to print documents, edit filenames, publish documents, index documents, redact, view recycle bin, empty recycle bin, delete documents, etc. You can copy users to create users, and create user groups to group common classes of users for quick addition of users in the same class.
- Online Activation: CaseLogistix software can be activated automatically through the user interface just like other sound commercial software.
- Automatic Update: CaseLogistix can detect, download, and install updates from the CaseLogistix servers to ensure that you are running the latest update.
- Recycle Bin: Deleted items are controlled in a recycle bin in a similar manner as Windows desktop to guard against accidental deletion. Items can be restored or authorized users can empty the bin.
- History/Revision Tracking: Changes to Documents and their related data are logged and can be rolled back by authorized users.
- Active Directory Integration: CaseLogistix can be configured for users to log in via network credentials.
- Centralized User Database: You can now share a single user database between multiple CaseLogistix libraries.
- Unattended Update Setup: By running a CaseLogistix update from command line and using the /S switch, the update will install in the background without any prompts.
