Why did we add these new features?

The new features are in direct response to requests from users and prospects within the legal marketplace. In addition, the integration with Attenex, Equivio and Syngence opens CaseLogistix to a wide range of potential new users.

What are the changes to the viewer?

The improved document viewer provides a new streamlined tabbed interface, simplifying the viewing of multiple document aspects – native, image, html, markup, and text renderings – simply selecting the desired tab along the viewer. An additional tab displays differences between the current document version and its near duplicates. The improved viewer also improves the ability to handle TIFF and other image formats more efficiently.

What are the Unicode improvements?

Unicode support improvements include the multi-value editing of data, improved character set find/replace support, and European date and time format support. The enhanced functionality allows improved capabilities with litigation documents generated in various global languages, including the ability to view multiple languages in their native formats within a single e-mail message string without the need to image the document or transfer it to another e-mail system.

What are the benefits of the integration with Attenex, Equivio and Syngence?

CaseLogistix 5.2's integration with Attenex allows users to find, connect and cluster legal documents by content subject, greatly accelerating the litigation review process.
Integration with Equivio and Syngence allows users to discover various document sets and versions, even if the documents exist in varying file formats, significantly increasing efficiency and decreasing litigation review times.

What other changes have we made?

In addition to the above, changes to the attachment and grouping features allow users to instantly collect related or duplicate documents in a list with a single mouse click, streamlining the viewing and processing of legal documents.
