Over the last few decades, Anacomp has invested hundreds of millions
of dollars in our infrastructure in order to manage and host our
customers’ growing volumes of data and documents. Those investments have
paid dividends – Anacomp now owns one of the world’s largest online
document repositories, holding over 20 billion documents worldwide.
We’ve made the investments in our infrastructure for our customers to
utilize – so they don’t have to spend money on their own. While our
infrastructure provides limitless scalability, it’s our emphasis on
security that sets us apart.
Data security, redundancy and chain-of-custody are on the forefront of
most businesses’ minds these days, as the repercussions of mismanaging
or losing data can be catastrophic. As such, the security of our
customers' data is paramount to Anacomp’s business. Due to our secure
infrastructure and deep experience, many Fortune 500 banks, financial
institutions, brokerage firms, health care organizations, major branches
of the U.S. federal, state and county governments and dozens of college
campuses rely on Anacomp to handle their most sensitive data.
Our comprehensive security features run the gamut from our buildings and power supplies, security procedures and personnel screening, state-of-the-art monitoring and telecommunication technologies to various redundancies and backup systems.

Our data center systems are fully redundant and monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For example, our data center in Herndon, VA (which hosts data for docHarbor Online and CaseLogistix) was designed in accordance with specifications by IBM security consultants. The building itself is physically protected by security guards, 24-hour-a-day camera surveillance, security badge readers and secure areas. It was built on dual power grids near Dulles International Airport with a back-up generator to ensure around-the-clock data access.
For our US government contracts, all of our data center employees have completed criminal background checks, have been fingerprinted, have had credit checks and have passed strict Federal security screens.
Our docHarbor platform was originally designed for US military use and it utilizes our own proprietary software. As such, is much more difficult to penetrate than other more widely used data archive software systems.
Our blue chip banking and financial customers have hired experts to regularly conduct external intrusion tests into our systems in an attempt to intentionally hack our database. Our customers have also conducted onsite security audits themselves to inspect our systems and security. We have passed every test.
Anacomp has retained special data security insurance coverage from one of the few insurance companies in the US offering such policies for third party security breaches. We are one of the few companies in US who have this insurance.
