Exabyte® Expands Partnership with Anacomp® to Include Call Center Services
San Diego, CA January 11, 2005 - a global provider of multi-vendor services, announced today an expansion of their partnership with tape storage solutions innovator Exabyte Corporation to include call center services.
Anacomp will provide call center services including Level I & II technical support, call tracking services and RMA processing. With call centers in both North America and Europe, Anacomp provides comprehensive support for its customers. Its technicians are highly trained and experienced in diagnosing, analyzing and resolving hardware issues. The company also offers multi-lingual support and web-based call tracking systems for up-to-the-minute information.
In 1997 Anacomp Multi-Vendor Services began providing field service support to Exabyte's European customers. Last year, Anacomp won field service contracts for Exabyte's global customer base. Anacomp field engineers completed extensive training at both Exabyte and Anacomp training facilities to gear up for the conversion. Anacomp also developed an on-the-road training package designed to keep engineers fully informed on Exabyte's complete line. Its entire spare parts inventory was transitioned to Anacomp's main depot centers for the management of repairs and distribution.
Exabyte decided to broaden its relationship with Anacomp because of the high level of professionalism and customer service excellence its clients were receiving.
