Imaging Platforms: IDP1600™
The IDP1600™is based on the industry's most advanced imaging platform, the XFP2000®. It is a highly versatile device that allows you to choose from a wide range of operational and performance options to create the exact system you need to effectively and efficiently write document images or computer output data to 16mm roll film.
The IDP1600™and Image Direct 2.6 combination provides a complete solution, in one package, for archiving coded (text) and non-coded (bitmap) data to 16mm roll film.
XFP2000™ - the industry's most advanced imaging platform; like the IDP1600, writes document images or computer output data to 16mm film, as well as microfiche.
In addition to offering superior film image quality, due to our innovative laser technology, Anacomp provides first-class maintenance for our products, including both hardware and software. You can be sure you will receive the largest return on your investment in our technology.
Features
The IDP1600™is the perfect low-cost, high-output archive solution. This system eliminates technology obsolescence and allows easy retrieval and inexpensive long-term storage of your digital images (text and graphics) to analog. With its advanced laser-optics system and innovative continuous-motion camera, the IDP1600 provides smooth, uninterrupted data imaging with all-points-addressable (APA) print capability.
The IDP1600 is the only film imager that supports 3211-line data format. Plus, Anacomp backs it with 45 years of experience in document imaging and archiving.
The Image Output Option included with the IDP1600 enables you to receive bitmap graphics via local area network (LAN) and image them onto a roll film. This software option processes data streams with bitmapped images, as well as text, allowing direct COM output for image/text documents.
Driving the IDP1600 is Image Direct 2.6. This Windows-based client server application enables the creation of an Integrated Data Stream (IDS) that combines bitmapped images (TIFF Group IV) with text and index information. With Image Direct, you can easily check the validity of bitmaps on the fly and scale them while maintaining the correct aspect ratio. Image quality is maintained with resolution values of 120 dots per inch (dpi) 240 dpi and 300 dpi. Reduction ratios run at 24X, 42X, 48X.
