Maintenance Services
Continued maintenance on a CCTV system is important, although the modern digital video recorder (DVR) has less moving parts than its humble counterpart the VCR, your system should be periodically inspected by a qualified engineer. This will maximize your investment and enable your system to provide the best possible recorded images.
Types of services we offer are:
- Pay-as-you-go system maintenance
- One off Preventative Maintenance visit
- Comprehensive parts and labor package
Your Anacomp service engineer will provide a full report indicating all checks and repairs to your system. All chargeable items would be agreed to prior to any work being carried out. This eliminates any hidden costs. We don?t just give the camera a quick cleaning. We carry out a complete list of checks on each camera.
CCTV Maintenance services provided:
- Check history of CCTV system since last maintenance service
- Visual inspection of all major CCTV components including cabling & connections where accessible for signs of deterioration or damage
- Check all CCTV control equipment (monitors, VCR, DVR, Multiplexer etc.)
- Check and clean cameras, lenses and housings as necessary.
- Check lenses for correct field of view and adjust as necessary
- Check and adjust camera focus as needed.
- Check and test remote signaling equipment (where fitted)
- Check recording and playback quality
- Check the satisfactory transmission of images to remote center (where applicable)
- Repair any minor faults where possible during a PM
- Retrain the users on the use of the CCTV (per event charge)
- Log all test results
- Return the CCTV system to operational status.
