Searching Features
- OCR Function: Right click on a non-OCR'd Tiff image and CaseLogistix will OCR it for you
- Redaction Codes Document List Column: You can add a "redaction codes" column to your document list to show whether a document has been redacted, and with which codes. By including the "Redaction Codes" column in your search criteria, you can include criteria for redacted documents and documents with specific redaction codes in your searches.
- MD5 Hash Field: As metadata is extracted, optionally, the MD5 hash value will be calculated and stored in the MD5 hash field. You can then run the check for duplicates function to return documents with the same MD5 value.
- Quick Search: Using the Search box at the top of the application interface, you can perform a search of the current document list or entire library using a simple Google-like search language. The indexed document text and document data can be searched at the same time. The quick search can be configured by each user with a variety of search options, such as restrict the search to certain user fields.
- Boolean Searching: CaseLogistix can handle complex Boolean searching (and/or/not) of both document text and document fields with no problem
- Saved/Named Search: You can create unlimited searches using an interface that allows the user to build advanced searches with multiple criteria and an expression builder. These searches are given a name so they can be performed again or modified later.
- Prompted Search: Saved/Named searches can be configured to prompt the user for a value or values as they are executed. For example, you can configure a prompted search to ask you what author, or what Bates numbers range you are looking for.
- DtSearch Options: The document text search can be configured with a variety of options, including Stemming (-ing -ed), Fuzzy Search (e.g., for bad OCR), synonym, Boolean and Phonic Searching
